The provocative creative, calls out laws that ban cannabis-related activities yet don’t restrict behaviors many would likely consider questionable or wrong—like bestiality, cannibalism or first-cousin marriage. The target was a young, hip and woke, urban audience, as well as legal and legislation decision makers. There was also a strong desire to create earned media, buzz and PR around the risky messaging.
